7. The connector insulating materials shall be made of black plastic that shall meet the
requirements of the general specification.
8. Plating of metal parts shall be sufficient to prevent corrosion of the base metal when
tested in accordance with MIL-J-641.
9. The M22442/5-2 connector shall contain an impedance matching transformer in
accordance with M22442/l-3.
*10. The M22442/5-3 connector shall contain two impedance matching
transformers in
accordance with M22442/1-3.
11. The pins shall be capable of moving slightly in any direction to ensure compatibility
with the mating connector.
12. Each connector shall meet the spring life requirement when tested in accordance with
MIL-J-64l. l/
l/ These requirements apply to the rear of the M22442/5-3 connector only.
