MIL-DTL-22442/35B
4.5 Dielectric withstanding voltage. Dielectric strength shall be performed in accordance
with Method 301 of MIL- STD-202. A potential of 600 volts, 60 Hz, shall be applied for one
minute. The potential shall be applied between each conductor and the remaining conductors
connected together and to the shield, and metallic shells, if present. The cord shall meet the
requirements of 3.4.3.1.
4.6 Insulation resistance. Insulation resistance shall be in accordance with Method 302 of
MIL-STD-202, test condition B. The potential shall be applied between each conductor and the
remaining conductors connected together and to the shield, and metallic shells, if present. The
cord shall meet the requirements of 3.4.3.2.
4.7 Continuity. One and six tenths (1.6) amperes of direct current shall be passed through
each conductor of each cord. The voltage drop across the conductor shall not exceed that
specified in 3.4.4.
